Lemonade Scones
🍋 LEMONADE SCONES 🍋
2 cups self raising flour
1/4 cup caster sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cream
1/2 cup lemonade
Vanilla bean paste
🍋 Preheat oven to 200°c
🍋 Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and mix until a soft dough starts to form.
🍋 Knead on lightly floured bench for a couple of minutes
🍋 Flatten dough gently with hands, until a 2cm disc is formed
🍋 Use a glass to cut dough into scones
🍋 Place on paper lined tray and brush lighly with milk
🍋 Bake in oven for 10-14 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
Serve warm, with jam and whipped cream
