From the moment you enter Red Bum BBQ, you are transported to a world of American style BBQ - think the aroma of smoked meats, beer and BBQ sauce.

Located at 87 Arthurs Seat Road in Red Hill, the former car mechanics has been turned into the perfect location to enjoy a meal and a few drinks with family and friends.

We selected pulled pork, brisket and pork ribs, accompanied by fries, mac & cheese and corn bread, and we have to say that the food certainly did not disappoint. The brisket melted in your mouth and the pulled pork absolutely divine (the ribs were also good - Bree's just struggling to compare any ribs in Australia with those at Dinsosaur BBQ in Harlem, NYC); and they were perfectly accompanied with the homemade lemonade, which made with soda water was  the perfect drink for a hot summer's evening.

We finished off the meal with chocolate brownie and coffee. Serving Commonfolk coffee, we have to say that the coffee was easily one of the best we've both had in a long time.
