Lee Miller
1907 - 1977
You may have never heard of Lee Miller - but she was a wonderful women!
She spent World War II photographing the women of war as civilians, workers and children. The photos were taken in traumatic times including concentration camps.
She however once the war was over kept all the photos she had taken hidden due to what we would probably regard as PTSD today. The photos weren’t discovered until after her death in 1977.
The strength & determination to document the brave women of WWII makes her a wonderful women to us.
Women working for and with women - wonderful!
